MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/
Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), creator and operator of neutral IBX(TM) (Internet Business Exchange(TM)) centers, and SiteSmith, Inc., a leading provider of Internet infrastructure managed services, today announced an agreement to provide Sitesmith's services at Equinix IBX(TM) centers. SiteSmith's Internet infrastructure managed services are first available at Equinix's Silicon Valley, New York and Washington D.C. area IBX(TM) centers.
Through this agreement, SiteSmith will leverage Equinix's unique neutral environment to simplify the hosting, development and ongoing operation of Internet sites for companies.
