San Jose, Calif. – April 11, 2000 — Equinix, Inc., creator and operator of the only neutral Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX&#153 centers, today announced the grand opening of the first Silicon Valley IBX™ center and partnerships with Cable & Wireless (NYSE:CWZ), Enron (NYSE: ENE) and Excite@Home (Nasdaq: ATHM). The Silicon Valley IBX™ is the only place where Internet content providers, e-commerce companies and application service providers (ASPs)can choose from the widest variety of carriers, ISPs, and site and performance management companies.
